About Us

Our Vision:

To inspire continuous physical, mental, and emotional expansion in our students.

Our Training and Curriculum:

Our training focus is similar to JKA / ITKF / AAKF style Karate, but all sincere martial artists who are willing to share and to learn are invited to train.  We believe in hard yet smart training, and through our study of Kata (fighting forms), Kihon (basic techniques), and Kumite (sparring), and various partner exercises and sensitivity drills, we seek deep understanding of the following, and more:

  • Punching
  • Striking
  • Kicking
  • Self Defense (awareness, evasion, de-escalation skills and practical kata applications)
  • Disbalancing (throwing, falling, sweeping, etc)
  • Standing Grappling and Groundwork
  • Sensitivity Drills
  • Cultivation of Advanced Timing Skills
  • High-level Philosophy of the Arts
  • Self / Artistic Expression
  • Conditioning (physical and mental)

Standards and discipline are high but the benefits of such training include:

  • Practical Self-Protection Skills
  • Personal Growth and Self-Discipline
  • Greater Respect and Awareness of Self and of Others
  • Self-Confidence
  • Physical Fitness
  • Increased Mental Focus and Greater Stress Management Ability
  • Positive Energy Management
  • Deeper Mind-Body Connection
  • Fast and Powerful Technique
  • Enhanced Inner-Determination
